About
Drachenfutter
On the night the oath-breaking foolReturns to the darkened lair,A noble dragon waits beyond the door, trembling with wrath.
Facing the judgment of searing flames,He offers his sole atonement with trembling hands:A sweet and fragrant tribute—the Drachenfutter.
As the rich nectar soothes the creature's scales,The fierce roar melts into a gentle sigh.
Thus the dreadful fires are quelled,And the light of peace warms the stormy night once more.
